From my personal point of view it is the biggest misestimation at all to think that the public will not come to know about disasters. Usually internal information's will be spread out for several reasons. The public confidence in biotechnology related science and scientists can only be rebuild when recombinant DNA technologies are transparent. I agree completely with the debt due from the FDA, research results which may affect the whole mankind should be available for everybody.
