I urge you to insure that genetically engineered foods are subject to pre-market testing and labeling. Labeling GE foods would protect the public from potential health effects that could only be traced in GE foods that can be identified. We must have adequate information for long term studies. The public has the right to know what they are consuming and to evaluate benefit versus risk as we learn more about GE foods.
