1. General Comments
|
The FDA's primary responsibility must be to provide the US consumer with information to make informed choices about the food they eat -- not protect the bottom line of agribusiness and food corporations. I strongly urge MANDATORY labeling of foods that have been developed using bioengineering. (One would think the FDA would have learned from its experience trying to do industry's bidding on mis-labeling organic food.) Thank you for your consideration of these comments.
