|
I strongly urge the FDA to require stringent testing of all foods developed with bioengineering, especially to fully understand risks over time to insects, birds and cross-pollination of non-GE foods. I believe strongly that US consumers should be able to know if the food they buy is a GE product, therefore producers should be required to label GE foods with a symbol on the product. I also believe that, at present, genitically engineered foods are a significant risk to the growing organic foods market and organic farmers. Thank you for your consideration.
