Subject: Petition 98P-0151/CP1

To the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Dockets Management Branch:

I urge you to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1, which would prohibit the slaughter 
of downed animals.  I can't stress enough that these animals have been 
through enough;  they are abused and neglected enough, and they deserve the 
right to lead a better, more peaceful life without the fear of death.  The 
way that they are moved from one place to another in itself is inhumane.  

Again, I reiterate that petition 98P-0151/CP1 needs to be passed.
