!! HOT NEWS!! The President signed the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 on July 30, 2008. Although the law temporarily increases VA’s maximum guaranty in some areas, the maximum VA guaranty on purchase loans in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma remains at 25% of $417,000. The law also increases benefits for veterans eligible for our Specially Adapted Housing program.
Construction and Valuation: Effective February 1, 2007, an appraisal fee increase has been implemented for selective areas. Please click here for additional information.

Regional Loan Center Announcements:
Effective October 1, 2006, the Phoenix Regional Loan Center (RLC) will no longer service terminal digits 45-48, 61-63, 70-72 and 88-90. All VA guaranteed loans in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas will be serviced by the Houston RLC.
