Research Interests

  • FuFunctional MRI, Gradient Coil Design, Parallel Imaging
  • Dardo Tomasi focuses his research interests on the development of advanced MRI techniques to study the effects of brain diseases and psycho stimulants on brain activation. He is also interested in developing functional MRI techniques with high spatial and temporal resolution, and evaluating the effect of MRI acoustic noise on cognition, particularly attention and memory.
  • His ongoing research is funded by the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the Department of Energy (DOE)
