2008-09 President’s Letter to Colorado DECA

Hello Colorado DECA, my name is Bruce Walters and I am your 2008-2009 DECA State President.  I cannot express the excitement I have for the upcoming year. It will be an honor leading DECA throughout all the activities the State Officer Team and I have planned and will plan throughout the year.  I can tell you now with complete certainty that I will, to the best of my ability, serve my school, my state and myself and be a valuable asset as an ambassador during ICDC.  Along those lines, I am looking forward to seeing you all there and I encourage you to have a great time.  If you have any questions/concerns feel free to contact myself or any one of the officers on the State Action Team.  ICDC is Colorado DECA’s first event and let’s make it one we can all be proud of.  ICDC is a time of fond memories and offers everyone a look into the intricacy of leadership and teamwork.  Take what you learn to better yourself for your future.  Thank you and I hope that my term will be beneficial not only to the State, but to each and every member that makes DECA the epitome of career-building education.  Good Luck!

Bruce Walters - President of Colorado DECA
