Roads and Trails

**Please call (541)594-3000 for the most current weather and road information.**

ALL park roads and facilities are OPEN for the season.

Most park trails are OPEN, however, trails south of Hwy 62 are currently CLOSED.

Current Southern Oregon road conditions in and around the park can be found at www.tripcheck.com.

 

Facilities and Services

The Steel Information Center, located at Park Headquarters, is open daily (except December 25) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The US Post Office (located in the Steel Center) is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, except holidays.

Rim Village Cafe and Gifts is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Rim Visitor Center is OPEN daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Crater Lake Lodge is OPEN. 

Mazama Village Motor Inn is OPEN.

Annie Creek Restaurant and Gift Store (located at Mazama Village) is now CLOSED for the season.

Mazama Village Camper Store is now open daily from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Mazama Campground is OPEN.

Lost Creek Campground is OPEN for tent camping.

Gasoline is available only at Mazama Village from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm daily.

As of September 19, 2008:
new snow = 0 inches
snow depth on ground = 0 inches (at Park Headquarters)
average snow depth this date = 0.2 inches
total snow accumulation = 552.8 inches (10/1/07 through 9/30/08)
average total accumulation this date = 522.9 inches
average annual snowfall = 524 inches
total precipitation accumulation = 76.0 inches (10/01/07 through 9/30/08)
