Question: How does NLM bill for interlibrary loan services?
Answer:

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) prefers to bill customers through the Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFTS). As needed, NLM can issue invoices to libraries through the National Technical Information Service (NTIS).
