Conservation Education Programs:
The Forest Service at Grey Towers offers a wide variety of imaginative and effective education programs on the environment and conservation both on-site and in the surrounding schools. Depending on the desired presentation, students are either bused to the estate or environmental Interpreters visit the classroom. Teacher workshops are offered as well.
All education programs are free of charge.
The programs listed below are designed to not only educate students about the diversity of the environment but also create a sense of stewardship fostered through experiential learning.
All programs offered are curriculum based and meet current standards for Environment and Ecology or science in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
