Directions to Grey Towers

 

Grey Towers is located in Milford, Pike County, in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania. On a map it can be found near the junction of the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

By Car:

  • From Southeastern Pennsylvania - Driving time: 3 to 3 1/2 hours

    Take Interstate 476 North to Highway 22 East (Exit 56, Lehigh Valley/Allentown) to Highway 33 North to Highway 209 North. (Highway 209 runs along Interstate 80 near Stroudsburg.) Take 209 North (Exit 309, Marshalls Creek) and travel through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (posted speed limits: 35 mph; 45 mph) to Milford. Proceed straight at the traffic light and drive several blocks. Just past the Grand Union grocery store, bear left at the fork in the road (Old Owego Turnpike) and travel behind the Apple Valley shops complex. The entrance to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

  • From Scranton, Pennsylvania - Driving time: 1 hour

    Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 46, Milford. Bear right off ramp onto Highway 6 East toward Milford. At the base of the hill, make a sharp right just after the Apple Valley shops complex onto Old Owego Turnpike. The entrance drive to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

  • From Newark, New Jersey - Driving time: 1.5 to 2 hours

    Take Interstate 78 West to Highway 24 West to Interstate 287 North to Interstate 80 West to Highway 15 North to Highway 206 North. Continue north on Highway 206 crossing the toll bridge over the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. Turn right to Milford, proceed straight at the traffic light and drive several blocks. Just past the Grand Union grocery store, bear left at the fork in the road (Old Owego Turnpike), and travel behind the Apple Valley shops complex. The entrance to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

  • From New York City (George Washington Bridge) - Driving time: 1.5 to 2 hours

    Take Interstate 80 West to Highway 15 North to Highway 206 North. Continue north on Highway 206 crossing the toll bridge over the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. Turn right to Milford, proceed straight at the traffic light and drive several blocks. Just past the Grand Union grocery store, bear left at the fork in the road (Old Owego Turnpike), and travel behind the Apple Valley shops complex. The entrance to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

  • From Newburgh, New York - Driving time: one hour

    Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 46, Milford, Pennsylvania. Turn left off ramp onto Highway 6 East toward Milford. At the base of the hill, make a sharp right just after the Apple Valley shops complex. The entrance to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

  • From Hartford, Connecticut - Driving time: 3 hours

    Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 46, Milford, Pennsylvania. Turn left off ramp onto Highway 6 East toward Milford. At the base of the hill, make a sharp right just after the Apple Valley shops complex. The entrance to Grey Towers is about 1/4 mile on the left.

 

By Air:

There are four airports in proximity to Grey Towers:

  • Newark - an hour and a half away and generally the most convenient in terms of numbers of flights and connections
  • Newburgh/Stewart - one hour away
  • Scranton - an hour and ten minutes away
  • Allentown - an hour and a half away
