Helping Albuquerque citizens and tourists with today's high gas prices. An estimated 500 bicycles will be available for rent throughout 25 Albuquerque locations soon. These three speed green bicycles will have a basket in the front and come equipped with bike locks and running lights.
Come Visit Roosevelt Park, one of the most historic parks in the City of Albuquerque. Watch out for flying frisbees as Roosevelt Park is home of the oldest Disc Golf course in New Mexico. Roosevelt Park is also the only off leash dog park in the City of Albuquerque where dogs are allowed off leash in the entire park (Please check for off leash hours). A recent renovation of Roosevelt Park included a new children's playground and a updated irrigation system.
Park Management is responsible for maintaining all City of Albuquerque Parks, Dog Parks, Landscaped Medians, and numerous City Trails.
Swim year round at one of our five indoor pools or enjoy the sun at any of our seven outdoor pools. City of Albuquerque Pools are available to rent, they are great for birthday parties, neighborhood block parties, and company picnics.
Recreation Division offers numerous sports and activities for youth and adults. The City of Albuquerque offers various trails for biking, hiking, running, skating, ect.
Golf Management Division manages four municipal courses conveniently located throughout the city. All courses are open dawn to dusk every day with the exception of Christmas Day.
The Open Space Division offers many lands to support numerous activities. The Shooting Range is just one of the many Open Space lands. Enjoy your next family reunion, office picnic, club meeting, or wedding reception in a mountain setting by reserving one of the available Open Space facilities.
Most known for the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta event, 94 acres of the park are developed and provide year round activities including the Albuquerque Golf Training Center. The Balloon Fiesta Park provides a wonderful, spacious facility for large events. Please call 311 for more information on park use.
