The National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH) is a private non-profit organization funded primarily through a Cooperative Agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration to provide training, technical assistance and information resources to the national network of 500+ federally funded community and migrant health centers (C/MHC’s). With the mission of improving the health status of the national farmworker population, NCFH is recognized as a primary partner in support of the work of Health Centers to improve the health status of one of the most disenfranchised minority population in the U.S. NCFH services and products include: on-site technical assistance; hands-on training; newsletters; directories; conferences; a migrant health library; a multi-media resource center; a clearinghouse of migrant health materials a toll-free information and referral line (Call for Health) for patients, providers, and patient advocates; electronic access to the catalog of library and resource center holding and documents; several e-groups for dissemination and communication amongst migrant health advocates.
