  • Discussion of Fiber to Double Eagle – Reese made motion to authorize Aviation to commence construction of the Fiber Optic system on City land, between the City Conduit and City Fiber, the TRC will address any outstanding Technical issues on this Proposal today, Dane will determine, with the assistance of Aviation if necessary, the actual needs for the training facility scheduled to open on August 1st and if in fact the T-1 can meet that need, Dane will proceed to contact Ms. Armenta at Qwest to ensure the copper is put in, in a sufficient time to do that. The plan essentially being that assuming that T-1 will meet their August 1st needs, the City will provide T-1 service until a Fiber Optic System can be installed for the second building and all additional buildings that are expected to be occupied in May of 2008. This request will need to come back to ISC from TRC and follow the normal process, Adams 2 nd, remaining agreed.
