MilSpouse.org is your resource library for military spouse employment, education, and relocation information. Here you will find links to employment related information and other resources for military spouses and military families.
The Military Spouse Resource Center (MilSpouse.org) was launched in July 2003 by Secretaries of Defense and Labor during a joint-signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. MilSpouse provides nearly 3,000 links to Web sites that will help military spouses with employment, education and training, and relocation needs to help find employment when relocating with their military member.
MilSpouse has also grown to include the Military Spouse Career Advancement Initiative. This demonstration project includes 18 military installations in eight states. The Department of Defense Secretary Gates states, "This initiative will help military spouses address education, training, and professional licensing and certification issues needed to have high-growth, portable careers in fields such as technology and health care."
MilSpouse.org thanks our friends at the Departments of Defense and Labor, Family Support coordinators for each of the service branches, Military HOMEFRONT, Military Spouse Career Center, and all the military spouses who continue to provide feedback and suggestions help military spouses world-wide with re-employment and education needs.
