The installation of 17 large woody debris structures have been completed along McIntosh Brook.  Large woody debris were positioned and anchored across the stream channel to promote vertical scour and pool formation to enhance brook trout habitat along 1.3 miles of stream habitat.  Biological and physical monitoring will be conducted to evaluate brook trout response to habitat enhancements.  This work was funded by the Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture, and included significant assistance from Trout Unlimited and other community volunteers.
