• Abstract: Approval of South Carolina (SC) State plan, Region IV. Federal OSHA standards and enforcement authority no longer apply to occupational safety and health issues covered by the South Carolina plan and authority for Federal concurrent jurisdiction is relinquished. Federal enforcement jurisdiction is retained over private sector maritime and employment on military bases. Federal jurisdiction remains in effect with respect to Federal Government employers and employees. The effective date is December 15, 1987.

Abstract:
