• Abstract: Approval of Tennessee (TN) State plan, Region IV, pertaining to revised compliance staffing benchmark. Federal OSHA standards and enforcement authority no longer apply to occupational safety and health issues covered by the Tennessee plan. Federal enforcement jurisdiction is retained over private sector maritime and railroad employment (where not regulated by another Federal agency), employment on military bases, and employment at Tennessee Valley Authority facilities. Federal jurisdiction remains in effect with respect to Federal government employers and employees. Effective date: July 22, 1985.
