A limited number of accessible parking spaces are located at the entrance to Hyde Street Pier. Hyde Street Pier, the Visitor Center, the Maritime Store, and the Maritime Library are wheelchair accessible.

The schooner C.A. Thayer and tugboat Hercules are not accessible. The square-rigger Balclutha's main deck is accessible: the captain's cabin, poop deck and lower hold are not accessible at this time. The main deck of the Eureka is accessible. The Alma is accessible with assistance.

Located in the visitor center, and on the main deck of the ferryboat Eureka,  are computer kiosks where a virtual reality tour of the park (including the ships) is available. A compilation of videos are shown in the Visitor Center theater and they are closed captioned.

The last stop and turnaround point for the Powell/Hyde cable car line.  

Did You Know?
San Francisco Maritime is the only NPS site that has a cable car turnaround adjacent to the park. Riders disembark and workers push the cars around on the track to position them for the next journey back up steep Hyde Street.
