Opportunities for Texas Medicaid Waivers and Advocacy Efforts for Needed Services

This meeting is free and open to the public. It is especially geared toward individuals and organizations interested in affecting public policy for persons with disabilities. Participants will learn how they can join the statewide efforts of the DPC, a network of disability advocacy organizations in Texas promoting improved access to and quality of services for Texans with disabilities.

    Heritage Senior Center
    200 S. Jefferson St., Irving, TX

    The event goal is to improve the health and well-being of the entire community by highlighting services from our local, county, state and federal agencies that serve people with disabilities in Irving and Dallas County.

    The Disability EXPO 2008 also will feature products from companies that help people with disabilities lead normal life. We are looking for 50 exhibitors to be participate in this event. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Bilingual staff is necessary.
