First annual Community Health Supports Conference



The SPD Community Nursing Tools Web site is dedicated to the promotion of quality, community-based nursing practice within Oregon’s long term care system. This site contains provider manuals, publications, administrative rules, SPD nursing policy, continuing education materials and events and important web links.

  • Continuing education events 

    First Annual Community Health Support Conference 

    • What: This is a one day conference for nurses who work in community based care settings. Topics will include delegation, running a small business and documentation. It has been approved for 3.3 hours of continuing education (CE) hours. CE applications will be available at the conference.

    • Who: The conference is open to all nurses, however, those who work with the SPD nurse contract program will be given first preference.

    • When and Where:
      • July 8, 2008 - Redmond
      • July 10, 2008 - Baker City
      • July 15, 2008 - Wilsonville
      • July 17, 2008 - Roseburg 

    • How: Download the conference flyer and registration form. Submit the registration to Seniors and People with Disabilities. Registration forms must be received at least seven days in advance of the conference date. Registrations will not be accepted by telephone.
