Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program

How can pharmacies participate in this program?

To register for this program, complete the registration form, OMAP 340, "Pharmacy Registration for the Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program." The registration for this program is different from the Medicaid process.

Pharmacies participating in the program will agree to accept the discount (state Medicaid rate) price as payment in full for the cost of the prescription drug.

If your pharmacy is in an area where access to the program would otherwise be limited or unavailable, you may apply to be a "critical access" pharmacy on the registration form. Critical access pharmacies are allowed to charge an additional $2.34 per dispensing.

After your pharmacy is registered, we will send instructional information on how to use the Point-of-Sale system for this program.
