Figure 33. Meteorological register used with hydrogen weather balloons flown
from the PRINCESSE ALICE II on April 5, 1905 from a station north of Corsica.
The balloons and register attained a height of 8000 meters before the balloons
burst and the instruments were parachuted to the sea for recovery and reading.
Readings from two temperature sensors and a pressure sensor were recorded.
