  • Do not touch the historic objects.
  • Stay in designated areas and watch where you walk.
  • Livestock can be unpredictable. Do not approach livestock.
  • Do not climb on fences or enter corrals or pastures.
  • Close gates behind you.
  • Be careful on the railroad tracks; the east track is active.
  • All historic and natural features are protected by federal law.

 


 

 

Look at the addition added on to the Kohrs house in 1890.  

Did You Know?
The Kohrs were optimists. When the 1890 brick addition was built onto their home, they had the house wired for electricity, even though it wasn’t available at that time. They got electricity a mere two years later.
