What Is an Aquatic Species?

Aquatic species are are animals that live in or require aquatic habitats for their survival. We manage fish and mussel species in Region 3. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of native species, recovering threatened and endangered species, maintaing fish health, and controlling and managing aquatic nuisance species.
