Description
Funded by the Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (formerly known as the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities - PCEPD), the Job Accomodation Network (JAN) is an information and consulting service providing individual solutions to the accomodation needs of persons with disabilities. Emphasis is placed on the individuals functional limitation as it relates to a specific job task. The service is available without cost to business persons, rehabilitation/social service professionals, and individuals. Users of the service are asked to contribute information about accommodations they have made. A toll-free number is used for contacting JAN.
