Description

The Weight-Control Information Network (WIN) was established by the National Institutes of Health's (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) in June 1994. WIN is a national source of information on weight control, obesity and weight-related nutritional disorders for health professionals and the public. The Information Network responds to both written and telephone requests for information and referrals, and provides a variety of written materials on obesity, weight control, and nutritional disorders.
