Glacier National Park Current Road Status

Currently 37.0 miles of the Going-to-the-Sun Road are open for travel.
Visitors can drive 15.5 miles from the West Entrance to Avalanche, and 21.5 miles from the St. Mary Entrance to Big Bend.

The section of the road between Avalanche and Big Bend is closed due to construction. Closed until 9/22/08

 Inside North Fork Road
The Inside North Fork Road is currently closed at Logging Creek RS and Fish Creek due to construction. *Note: the actual closure is in effect from Howe Ridge Trailhead to Howe Lake Trailhead. Areas north and south of this section are open to vehicle traffic.
