Many National Park Service areas have Friends groups that help the park protect and share America's treasures. Friends groups sponsor exhibits and lectures, raise money for special projects, and serve as a liasion between community and park.

Did You Know?
Nine-banded armadillos always give birth to four identical young, the only mammal known to do so. They can also delay birth for up to two years after fertilization of the egg.
