Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve has six sites scattered throughout south Louisiana. See the park home page to link to each location. Map of Site Locations 

All sites are accessible by car. Airports serve New Orleans and Lafayette. Public transportation is available in New Orleans only.

Nine-banded armadillos always give birth to four identical young, the only mammal known to do so. They can also delay birth for up to two years after fertilization of the egg.
