MAPPS Loses in Federal Court

The United States District Court
in Alexandria, Virginia has
reached a decision in the
MAPPS
(Management Association for
Private Photogrammetric
Surveyors) litigation, ruling
last week that
MAPPS lacks legal
standing. A

describing the decision and the

decision provide further detail.
UCGIS was one of the first
organizations to agree to join
in an amicus brief opposing the
MAPPS claims.
