Advisory Council Review

The National Deafness and Other Communication Disorders Advisory Council serves as the second level of review for research and training grant applications submitted to the NIDCD. The Advisory Committee meets at least three times each year to provide recommendations to the Director, NIDCD on policy and funding issues. The Advisory Council is managed and receives logistic support from the Division of Extramural Activities (DER). Committee management functions are also located within DER and provide for centralized administrative and procedural management for all of the Institute's advisory committees.
