all financial data accessed via a secure IFMIS (and DOJ) financial
system bi-directional interface.

- Align IT enterprise to meet the most stringent security standards of
the civilian agencies

- Align development of the Grants Management System with the established
practices of the systems design industry, minimize affect of contractor
bias through performance based standards

- Tighten cooperation and coordination between OJP systems development
decisions and DOJ and OMB standardization of development
- Prioritize the participation of OJP IT with initiatives in the OMB
E-Government Office
- Deploy a Security Action Team to monitor security related issues
with all OJP systems and enterprise operations, including alignment of
OJP security with DOJ and Homeland Security initiatives

- Human Capital assessment is conducted on a monthly basis to assure
that the team is operating on a peak efficiency level at all times
- OJP desktop systems for all users are optimized to insure that all
users are knowledgeable on what resources are available and can best be
used to maximize efficiency of the organization
- OJP CIO Office will establish an OJP Hot Sheet which will contain a
daily, weekly and monthly list of key IT concerns for all staff, within
the CIO Office and outside as well

- Establishment of a Business Office that will monitor all contracts on
a performance based metrics basis. A constant reassessment of contractual
relationships will be done to insure maximum efficiency and benefit to OJP.
All OMB required reporting on investment analysis and benefit assessment
will receive priority, with emphasis on standardization of reporting
techniques and data gathering processes
