This information is current as of August 29, 2005. The plant is operating in Mode 1 at 100 percent reactor power.

Effective July 1, 2005, the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station transitioned from oversight under the NRC Inspection Manual Chapter (IMC) 0350, “Oversight of Operating Reactor Facilities in an Extended Shutdown as a Result of Significant Performance Problems,” process to the Reactor Oversight Process. Oversight and inspection activities are in accordance with the Regulatory Response Column (Column II) of the Action Matrix, with additional inspections related to the requirements of the March 8, 2004, Confirmatory Order and in the area of problem identification and resolution.
