Electronic Design Requirements for Region 1 Projects
Introduction
Welcome to the Region 1 electronic design website. This website was created for ODOT and Consultant design work. The purpose of this site is to provide standards expected to build a project using electronic engineering tools. These standards 1) give the detailed information needed for construction and 2) enable the construction office to use automated roadway software for both checking and recreating design grades and surfaces. The plans are usually not sufficient in providing adequate details for building a project without corresponding electronic sources.

The first document listed serves as a checklist of data needed to send to the construction office and is to be prepared in coordination with the ODOT Project Leader.  The other documents provide the standards, formats, and processes needed to carry out construction work.  Since there are always new versions and methods of using software this site will continually be updated.  We welcome your feedback on how we can improve this page.

Please note: This page does not contain all the information needed by ODOT and Consultant designers to design projects for ODOT.  If you cannot find what you need, please try the ODOT Project Delivery Consultant Web Page.
