Railroad & Utility Relocation Program
General Information
Railroad and Utility Lines
The Railroad & Utility Relocation Program is managed within the Project Administration Unit of the Right of Way Section. 
 
The Project Administration Unit, located in Salem, is responsible for setting program policy and guidance in railroad and utility coordination/relocation, negotiating railroad and utility agreements, coordinating project funding, and authorization of reimbursable railroad and utility relocations, all related to construction.
 
For information or questions regarding railroad blockages, safety concerns, authority to alter or build new highway/railroad crossings, see the ODOT Rail Division.
