NMFS Prohibits Directed Fishing for Non-CDQ Pollock with Trawl Gear in the Chinook Salmon Savings Areasof the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is prohibiting directed fishing for non-Community Development Quota (CDQ) pollock with trawl gear in the Chinook Salmon Savings Areas of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area (BSAI) effective 12 noon, Alaska local time (Alt.), September 5, 2004, through 12 midnight, A.l.t., December 31, 2004, according
to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. 54 degrees 00' N. lat., 171 degrees 00' W. long.
