This publication gives statistics related to teen pregnancy and childbearing in the United States. It divides teens by age groups as well as ethnic groups and it also discusses the rate of teen abortion. It also discusses the fact that most teen mothers come from socially and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds and gives statistics related to births occuring to teens living in poverty and unmarried teens.
