Objective:
To evaluate the potential benefits of legume cover crops on productivity, mineral nutrient content, health of cacao and soil quality factors.

Approach:
Field experiments will be established with cacao in Itabuna, Bahia. In this study, three cover crops and control will be used to evaluate their effects on soil and cacao plant parameters. In this study assessment will be made on cover crops effect on changes of soil quality factors.
