CS Toronto promoting business with the American Chamber of Commerce

CS Toronto worked with the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada to arrange and promote a meeting in Burlington, Ontario (approximately 35 miles from Toronto) between businesses and the U.S. Consul General.

This was the first public meeting in this region for the current Consul General since his arrival two years ago.  Seventy-five U.S. and Canadian companies and economic development officials joined the Mayor at the breakfast.

The priority topics raised by the audience were the U.S.-Canada border, the loss of Canadian manufacturing companies, and the decline in U.S. visitation to Canada. This was the second of three outreach meetings CS Toronto and AmCham Canada have planned for the Consul General outside of Toronto.
