Nebraska State Climate Office 

The Nebraska state climate office supports the concept of a national climate services program which includes the National Climatic Data Center, the  Regional Climate Centers, and the State Climate Offices.

The Nebraska state climate office and the High Plains Regional Climate Center are pleased to host the 2001 annual meeting of the American Association of State Climatologists to be held in Omaha, Nebraska from August 5-8.  Click on "2001 AASC Meeting Information" for further details.

WHAT IS NEW, CURRENTLY AVAILABLE, OR PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE!

 

NEW: 6/19/01. May 2001 initial monthly precipitation reports calculated from the cooperative observation network.  CLICK HERE  234 of 249 stations have been received so far. Additional station totals will be added as soon as observation forms are received from local National Weather Service forecast offices. 

NEW: 6/11/01.  April 2001 monthly temperature and precipitation summaries (graphical plots and digital summaries) are available.  May 2001 National Weather Service summaries are also available.  Click on the "Preliminary Climatic Updates" link to view these new products.
