The Technical College System of Georgia is a unified system of technical education, custom business and industry training and adult education. Our programs use the best available technology and offer easy access to lifelong learning for all Georgians. This system is part of a seamless education process for Georgia in which students can transfer credits efficiently as they advance from secondary schools to technical colleges and to the university system.

The TCSG promises its students a Guaranteed Education.

The Technical College System of Georgia is the state agency responsible for overseeing Georgia's Technical Colleges, the Adult Education program, and a host of economic and workforce development programs.

Governor Perdue Signs Legislation Renaming Georgia's Technical College System.

On May 13, 2008, Governor Perdue signed legislation that will officially change the name of the Department of Technical and Adult Education.  Effective July 1, 2008, the system will be known as the Technical College System of Georgia.

The new name will better communicate to all Georgians the TCSG’s important mission to provide the very best in technical education, adult education programs, and customized training for business and industry through 33 of the nation’s top technical colleges.  The TCSG is the source for people looking to get the kind of education that today’s business and industry want and need.
