aNIST mussel tissue V (QA93TIS5) was included in each of eight extraction batches as a part of the QA/QC protocol.
bnf = peak not found; assuming 10 g wet weight of mussel tissue, 50% efficiency in the sample extraction and cleanup steps, a 250L final sample colume, and an instrument (GC/MS) detection limit of 0.2 ng/L, the MDL calculates to be 10 ppb wet weight.
cMDL t, where = standard deviation and t = Student's "t" value with n-1 degrees of freedom and = 0.01 (one tailed).
