Brief Description:
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits and encourages grant applications for research that will lead to the
determination of membrane protein structures at high resolution. In addition to the structures of integral membrane proteins,
the structures of the complexes formed between these proteins and their biological partners are of interest. Despite increases
in the number of solved structures, the knowledge of membrane protein structures still lags far behind that of soluble proteins.
