Brief Description:
This notice is to inform applicants who submitted a proposal in response to the 2004 request for applications for Senator
Paul D. Wellstone Muscular Dystrophy Cooperative Research Centers (RFA-AR-04-008) that the participating institutes will accept
one revision of their application. In their revision, it is important that applicants fully consider and carefully respond
to issues raised in the summary statements. These revised applications will be subject to the same requirements, rights, responsibilities,
budget limitations and review criteria described in the RFA. From this pool of revised applications, NIAMS, NICHD and NINDS
intend to fund up to two Centers total, contingent upon availability of funds and sufficiently meritorious applications. A
letter of intent is required and it is intended that awards will be made by Sept. 30, 2005.
