Program Area: Neurogenetics
Brief Description:
As a component of the NIH Roadmap for Medical Research (http://nihroadmap.nih.gov/), the Building Blocks, Biological Pathways
and Networks working group initiated a program intended to create and exploit new technologies for proteomics. Specifically,
these new technologies are focused on the quantitative characterization of dynamic protein interactions at high spatial and
temporal resolution. Ultimately these new tools and methods are intended to overcome current technological constraints that
prevent the integration of quantitative and interaction proteomics, as well as forcing researchers to view highly complex,
dynamic systems as artificially static.
