G/BA was founded in 1973 as an energy consulting firm, and energy conservation remains the underlying philosophy of our firm. G/BA has been recognized by ASHRAE for innovative energy projects with awards in every year expect one dating back to 1981, including two prestigious national-level first place awards in 2003 (the only first place awards awarded nationwide in 2003). G/BAs design services are extremely important; however, analytical work, including commissioning, LEED consulting, energy studies, infrastructure studies, indoor air quality studies and chilled water system studies, account for a significant portion of our work.
