Western National Parks Association
Both visitor centers within Saguaro National Park have a bookstore operated by a private, non-profit organization called Western National Parks Association (WNPA). In addition to Saguaro, WNPA also operates bookstores in 64 other National Park Service areas throughout the western United States. A variety of books on the Sonoran Desert and Saguaro National Park are available for purchase either in person, or on-line. Did You Know?
The saguaro blossom is the state flower of Arizona. In late summer, the Tohono O’odham people come to Saguaro National Park to harvest the saguaro fruit.
