Birding has always been a good reason to come to Anacostia Park and the Aquatic Gardens. The park manages habitat for ground nesting, aquatic, and woodland birds. We welcome volunteers to lead birdwalks. Contact the park at (202) 426-6905 to volunteer.

Click to download an Excel document (60 KB) of our bird list compiled by volunteer Jordan Rutter.
